That’s why we’re excited to welcome Beau Giannini, PhD to our Team and Board of Advisors.

Beau brings two decades of experience building, scaling, and investing in companies across financial technology, supply chain, and consumer products. He currently serves as Founder & CEO of Ternary Intelligence, where he’s applying advanced AI and systems science to optimize financial outcomes through predictive analytics.

Before that, Beau:

• Founded Sinomark Consulting, helping global consumer brands streamline cross-border supply chains
• Raised over $40M in venture capital as Co-Founder & CEO of Freeborders, scaling in partnership with IBM
• Built Yogavive, an organic food brand that expanded into 4,000+ U.S. retail locations

His operating record speaks for itself — but Beau’s impact doesn’t stop there.

He serves as an Executive Mentor at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, coaching founders through customer discovery and venture design. He’s also held leadership roles at YPO in both San Francisco and Shanghai, helping high-growth founders build smarter and scale faster.

Beau holds a PhD in Management Science from Tongji University, an MBA in Global Management & Social Entrepreneurship from UC Berkeley, and a BA in Asian Studies from Dartmouth.

At Caphatch, Beau will lead our advisory board and support our mission to unlock global innovation by making capital access more founder-friendly, credible, and structured. His guidance will be critical as we scale our diligence process, expand our investor network, and bring structure to a historically messy fundraising ecosystem.
